The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser

Squalane: A plant-derived, skin-compatible emollient that helps soften skin and support hydration without clogging pores.

Sucrose Stearate: A sugar-based emulsifier that helps oil, makeup, and dirt mix with water so they rinse away easily.

Ethyl Macadamiate: A lightweight macadamia-derived emollient that supports a soft, smooth after-feel.

Sucrose Laurate: A gentle sugar-based emulsifier that helps lift oil-soluble impurities from skin.

1. Start with dry hands and a dry face.
2. Dispense a small amount into your palms and rub them together for 10–30 seconds until the balm becomes clear and oil-like.
3. Massage thoroughly over the dry face to dissolve makeup, sunscreen, and impurities.
4. Rinse well with warm water.
5. Use morning and evening. In a double-cleansing routine, use it as the first cleanse and follow with a water-based cleanser if desired.

Suitable for all skin types, including dry, oily, combination, and sensitive skin. Its soap-free, non-comedogenic formula is particularly helpful when skin feels dry or tight after cleansing.

AM and PM: Squalane Cleanser → toner or essence → water-based treatments → moisturizer → sunscreen in the morning.

At night, use it as the first step to remove makeup and sunscreen. Follow with a second water-based cleanser when double cleansing is desired. It has no active-ingredient conflicts.
