The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 0.5% Body Serum is a lightweight, water-based treatment developed specifically for acne-prone body skin. Its precision nozzle makes it easy to apply to areas such as the back, chest, shoulders and arms.
Salicylic acid is oil-soluble, so it exfoliates the skin surface and works inside congested pores to help remove dead skin and debris. With regular use, the formula helps reduce visible breakouts, blemish redness and rough texture for clearer, smoother-looking skin.
The serum has a pH of 3.2–4.0 and is free from alcohol, oil and silicones. It is vegan, gluten-free and cruelty-free. The brand reports that visible body acne, blemish height and redness begin to improve from three days, while texture appears smoother within seven days. Individual results may vary.
