The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Anhydrous Solution is a water-free, squalane-based exfoliating serum for blemish-prone skin and visible congestion. The 2% salicylic acid works inside pores and on the skin surface to help remove dead cells, reduce the look of blemishes and smooth uneven texture.
Unlike a conventional water-based salicylic-acid serum, this emollient formula uses squalane and hydrating polyglycerides to distribute the active ingredient gradually. This helps create a gentler feel and makes the formula a practical option for people who are new to direct acids.
The 30 ml serum has an oil-like texture but is listed by the brand as oil-free, water-free, alcohol-free and silicone-free. It is vegan, gluten-free and cruelty-free. The formula targets congestion, dullness, redness, uneven tone and textural irregularities.

Patch test on a small area once daily for three days before broader use. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using the product and for one week afterwards.

- This BHA can increase sun sensitivity. Use sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure during use and for one week afterwards.
- Do not use in the same routine with copper peptides, direct acids, direct vitamin C, EUK 134, 100% niacinamide powder, peptides, retinoids, Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner, GF 15% Solution or Multi-Active Delivery Essence.
